AmazHA is a companion app for Amazfit / Zepp OS watches that lets you control your own Home Assistant installation. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
We collect almost nothing
AmazHA has no analytics, no tracking, and no developer-operated backend that stores your information. The app connects directly to the Home Assistant server you configure, using a server address and access token that you provide and that are stored only on your phone and watch.
Home Assistant connection
Your Home Assistant URL, access token, and the entity/area data shown in the app stay on your devices and travel only between your phone, your watch, and your own Home Assistant server. They are never sent to the developer or any third party.
Health and device data (optional)
If you explicitly enable it, AmazHA can read watch metrics (such as heart rate, steps, distance, calories, SpO₂, sleep, stress, and body temperature) and send them to your own Home Assistant server as sensor entities. This feature is off by default, every metric is opt-in, and the data goes only to your server — never to the developer.
Support requests (optional)
If you use the in-app support form, the name, email, and message you type are sent to the developer so we can reply, together with a diagnostic report. The form shows you that report in full before you send it, and it is voluntary — if you don’t use the form, nothing is sent.
The report describes your setup, not your home: app and watch version, watch model, license status, whether a Home Assistant server is configured and whether the last connection succeeded, how many devices and areas you enabled, which optional features are on, and a short list of recent connection outcomes. Your Home Assistant address, your access token, your device and room names, and any health values are never included.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlock is processed by KiezelPay. Payment is handled entirely by KiezelPay and your app store; AmazHA does not receive or store your payment details. See KiezelPay’s own privacy terms for how they process payments.
