AmazHA, one minute at a time.
Ten short videos, from installing the app to fixing what goes wrong, each with its steps written out below it.
- Tutorial 1 Install AmazHA AmazHA installs like any other watch app: from the Zepp App Store, on your phone. It starts on a demo home, so you can try every screen before connecting anything.
- Tutorial 2 Get around the watch Everything in AmazHA works with the same few gestures. Learn them once on the demo home, then see how each kind of device is controlled.
- Tutorial 3 Unlock the full version The free version runs on a demo home. A one-time purchase unlocks the full version, with your own Home Assistant, Favorites, the Energy panel and watch sensors. The payment goes through KiezelPay, the payment service AmazHA uses.
- Tutorial 4 Connect Home Assistant AmazHA reaches Home Assistant through your phone. It needs two things, entered once: the address of your server and a long-lived access token from an administrator.
- Tutorial 5 Choose your devices A real Home Assistant has far more entities than a watch can show. In AmazHA every device starts hidden, and you switch on only the ones you want on your wrist.
- Tutorial 6 Favorites & energy Two areas you build yourself: the Energy panel, from the sensors you pick, and Favorites, your most-used devices from any room.
- Tutorial 7 Make it yours The watch home is yours to arrange, from the Appearance settings and from each room.
- Tutorial 8 Preferences A handful of preferences change how AmazHA looks and behaves on your wrist.
- Tutorial 9 Watch sensors AmazHA also works the other way round: your watch's own data, such as steps, heart rate or battery, becomes sensors in Home Assistant.
- Tutorial 10 When something's wrong When something doesn't work, the watch says what it is. Here is what each message means, and the fix for it.
